Songs of Glory arranged for various instrumental quartets

Over the past 8 weeks I have been working on various instrumental quartets
(simple transcriptions of the originals and also extended variations)
based on various early gospel songs.
They were inspired by a Sankey service which we sang recently in Loughborough Parish church.
The original composers go as far back as Charles Wesley and onwards to George Bennard, via the wonderfully named Edwin Othello Excell,
D B Towner, Robert Lowry and many more.
They are currently set for wind, string, saxophone, recorder, flute and clarinet quartets, but if other combinations are desired, do please let me know.
The scores (and electronic previews) are now available on:
Songs of Glory - Complete List
Divided by instruments:
Songs of Glory for recorder quartet
Songs of Glory for saxophone quartet
Songs of Glory for flute quartet
Songs of Glory for string quartet
Songs of Glory for clarinet quartet
Songs of Glory for wind quartet

Psalm 23 - Der Herr ist mein Hirte (The Lord is my Shepherd)

The video is also available on Vimeo here
The score is available on SheetMusicPlus
this is a setting of Martin Luther's translation of Psalm 23 in Dorian mode

It was performed on 6 May 2017 by the Budapest Scoring Choir under Peter Pejtsik

(The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.)
(He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;
he leadeth me the quiet waters by.)

Er erquicket meine Seele;
(My soul he doth restore again)
(and me to walk doth make in the paths of righteousness, even for his own Name's sake.)
Und ob ich schon wanderte im finstern Tal, fürchte ich kein Unglück;
(Yea, though I walk in death's dark vale, yet will I fear no ill)
(For Thou art with me; and thy rod and staff my comfort still.)
(My table Thou hast furnished in the presence of my foes)
(My head Thou dost with oil anoint, and my cup overflows.)
(Goodness and mercy all my life shall surely follow me)
(and in God's house for evermore my dwelling place shall be.)

Stormy Weather arranged for flute sextet or flute choir

Harold Arlen's melody for Koehler's lyrics "Stormy Weather" has often fascinated me. So I finally decided to arrange it as a
chamber music piece, starting here with a version for flute ensemble.
The top flute has the tune for most of the time but the bass flute takes over on the reprise with the harmonies switching up by one
The score and parts are available on SheetMusicPlus
Other versions will no doubt come rolling in...
