play at Coglès was the comedy Jean III by Sacha Guitry.

nice overacting, as you can hear from the soundfiles!
Christian Rousseau (he of the moustache above), was the protagonist Jean, the aspiring actor. His father who applauded over‑enthusiatically is played by Francis Couillard, just above him.
The “O mon Dieu” over-actress was Marielle Serrand (bottom right)
