Description
Antonelli Rag was originally composed as a guitar solo in 1977 while I was staying with a friend in Piazza Antonelli in Ghemme, Northern Italy
(the solo guitar version is also available on this site).
I have now created quartet versions of the piece for various combinations.
Piazza Antonelli is named after the achitect Alessandro Antonelli, born in Ghemme, who designed the church of Maria Assunta in that square (both shown in the video). He also created the famous Mole Antonelliana building in Turin
