Description
Variations for 2 clarinets based on the Irish folk tune Paddywhack,
which is based on an Irish jig in 6/8 time by that name.
It relates originally to St Patrick (Paddy),
hence an Irishman from “Paddy” + “whack”: as in “get one’s Irish up”.
The two instruments take turns in playing tune and accompaniment
