This is a live performance by musicians from Costa Rica and produced and edited by Marco Perez.
The mode is basically major pentatonic as in the original Chinese New Year Celebration, but I have allowed some polymodality to creep in during the central section to reflect the fact that the celebrations occur throughout the world.
