Exprompt – an Armenian song of farewell – arranged for wind quartet

Category:

Description

Instrumental quartet based on my song on a poem written for me
in Armenian by James Russell when he left London

Vaghə toghem əskez:
kərkéra anagán usin
Arden asteghats apsen galarvum
eh depi índz
Yev syukə sút eh shəshum te:
“Kezi petk cheh ser.”

Tomorrow I leave you: pointless vain passions
Already the plate of the stars spins down towards me
And the breeze whispers this lie:
“You need no love.”
