McQuiddity for alto and guitar

Description

Comic song about a naughty dog, based on a poem by Mary Holtby (permission obtained from the copyright holder).
(The poem is, in turn, a parody of TS Eliot’s Macavity the mystery cat)

This can be sung by contralto or countertenor, but a countertenor will find it easier to reach the occasional comical bass note phrases. (A contralto could simply go into speaking voice at those points if required)
