Octatonic Wind Quartet

Category:

Description

This work is a re-arrangement for wind quartet of the first movement of my first string quartet, which was composed and performed back in 1997.

Octatonic is a mode which is entirely regular in its distribution of intervals – tone semitone tone semitone etc and is also known as the mode of limited transposition.

I have left the piece without a key signature – but the clarinet is indeed suitably transposed as required.
