Since first I saw your face (with variations) for saxophone quartet

Description

Arrangement of Thomas Ford’s famous madrigal. In verse 2 the 1st instrument enjoys some variations (divisions)
and in verse 3 the 4th and 3rd instruments take those variations in turn and the other parts move around.

The words of the original madrigal begin:
Since first I saw your face I resolv’d
To honour and renown you;
If now I be disdain’d I wish
My heart had never known you.
What I that loved and you that liked,
Shall we begin to wrangle?
No, no, no! my heart is fast
And cannot disentangle.
