Description
This instrumental cameo is based on the song “Lied an die Sonne”, which appears in my 2014 “Austrian-Egyptian” opera ATON (also available on this site).
The music revolves around the C minor augmented fourth chord, with various occasional changes in mode, giving it a dreamlike oriental or Arabian quality.
