Description
Strasbourg Rag (also called Strasrag) was written originally as a
guitar “ragtime” solo as an upbeat meditation on my leaving the
lovely city of Strasbourg (where I lived, sang, loved and taught for 8 months)
and my return to the UK (also available on this site).
These versions use the notes of the guitar original but
switch the melody and accompaniment between the higher and lower instrument
on each successive phrase.
