Instrumental trio based on the jolly English folk song The Ballad of Green Broom
(in which a lazy son is forced out to work selling green broom and is
then spotted by a “fair lady in bloom” who marries him.
(“There is none so good as the lad who sells broom!”)
The tune (and variation on the tune) is shared by the top two parts.
