The King’s joy for SAB choir and piano

Description

This simple arrangement is one of an ongoing series of British folk songs
for SAB (soprano/alto/bass) choir and piano.
This particular song – a royalist revivalist ditty –
is based on a traditional air and the words are attributed to
Martin Parker (mid-17th century).
This attribution is subject to “reasonable doubt”
because royalists in England had to keep in hiding at the time!
