What can we poor females do? by Henry Purcell arranged for alto, tenor and guitar

Description

A sort of transsexual arrangement of Purcell’s “What can we poor females do” (from Orpheus Britannicus) – transposed to E minor – for guitar and two voices.

What can we poor females do
when pressing, teasing, lovers sue?
Fate affords no other way,
than denying, or complying;
And resenting, or consenting,
does alike our hopes betray.
