Instrumental version of my vocal duo based on the poem by Jacques Prévert:
Chanson des escargots qui vont à l’enterrement d’une feuille morte
(Song of the Snails that go to the funeral of a dead leaf).
The poem relates the tale of two snails who go so slowly to the funeral of a dead leaf that, by the time they arrive,
spring has come again and the sun invites them to be jolly.
They drink lustily and go home a little tipsy.
