Description
Arrangement based on J S Bach’s harmonisation of the old German Christmas tune O Jesulein süß
I have provided five different sections here which can be performed in sequence
or separately during an event or service.
Section 1 is the original Bach version with violin 1 one octave higher
Section 2 provides a highly ornamented version of the tune on violin 1
and a few decorations in violin 2
Section 3 and 4 switch the voices round so that viola has the melody and the violins take the
lines of the lower instruments.
The final section is the same as section 1 except that the parts are quieter and more legato.
