The Chief defect of Henry King for voice and guitar

Description

Setting of the poem by Hilaire Belloc about a little boy who kept chewing string and eventually died as a result. It is “black humour” the main point being near the end of the song where the doctors take their fees but say “there is no cure for this disease”!
The setting uses an original tune with guitar chord names. The pdf file contains versions in various keys (C, D, F and G) so as to fit any vocal range.
The video is my performance.
